(NJCUGothicKnights.com) | The New Jersey City University men's cross country team made history on a couple fronts at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship on the Stockton University Course in Galloway, N.J. on November 2. They were led by a record-setting performance from freshman Jose Recinos (Union City, NJ/Union City), who ran a time of 27:27.5 for a modern NJCU 8K record. The previous record was held by Joseph Carroll, who ran a 27:34.9 in 2005.
